In Libre Assist*, the AI model analyzes the food image or text for identification of ingredients with consideration of any dietary preferences you’ve entered in your Profile.
Identified ingredients are evaluated to determine a predicted glucose impact† color rating for each (Minor = green, Moderate = yellow, Major = orange).
The food image or text is also assigned an overall predicted glucose impact score that indicates the likely impact that the food could have on your glucose.
*Libre Assist is a feature within Libre app that uses generative artificial intelligence to provide information on how foods could impact your glucose levels. Generative artificial intelligence may not always be accurate, and it should not be used to make treatment decisions.
