When you apply the FreeStyle Libre 3 Plus sensor to the back of your upper arm, a tiny needle helps place the sensor filament under your skin. The needle does not remain in your arm after application.
You might experience some bleeding, but this usually doesn't mean you need to remove the sensor.
However, if the bleeding does not stop, remove the sensor and contact your healthcare professional for assistance.
