What reports are available in the FreeStyle Libre 3 app?

The following reports1 are available:

  • Daily Patterns: A graph showing the pattern and variability of your sensor glucose readings over a typical day. The thick black line shows the median (midpoint) of your glucose readings. The light blue shading represents the 5th-95th percentile range of your glucose readings. Dark blue shading represents the 25th - 75th percentile range.

  • Time In Range: A graph showing the percentage of time your sensor glucose readings were above, below, or within certain glucose ranges. The Custom graph is based on your Target Glucose Range, and the Standard graph is based on a Target Range of 70 to 180 mg/dL.

  • Low Glucose Events: Information about the number of low glucose events measured by your sensor. A low glucose event is recorded when your sensor glucose reading is lower than 70 mg/dL for longer than 15 minutes. The total number of events is displayed below the graph. The bar graph displays the low glucose events in different periods of the day.

  • Average Glucose: Information about the average of your sensor glucose readings. The overall average for the selected time period is displayed below the graph. The average is also shown for different periods of the day. Readings above or below your Target Glucose Range are yellow, orange, or red. Readings in range are green.

  • Daily Graph: A graph of your sensor glucose readings by day. The graph shows your Target Glucose Range and symbols for notes you have entered.

    - Glucose readings above 350 mg/dL are displayed at 350 mg/dL. For sequential readings above 350 mg/dL, a line is displayed at 350 mg/dL.

    - The symbol may appear indicating a time change. Gaps in the graph may result or glucose readings may be hidden.

  • Sensor Usage: Information about how often you viewed your sensor glucose readings in the app* and how much information has been captured from your sensor.

  • Glucose Management Indicator (GMI): Glucose Management Indicator uses average sensor glucose data. GMI can be used as an indicator of how well your glucose levels have been controlled.

* The FreeStyle Libre 3 app is only compatible with certain mobile devices and operating systems. Please check our compatibility guide for more information about device compatibility before using the app.

t:connect Mobile App: The t:connect mobile app is intended to be a secondary display for compatible Tandem Diabetes Care insulin pumps and is capable of wirelessly uploading pump data it receives into the t:connect web application. The t:connect mobile app is not intended to control an insulin pump and is not intended to be a replacement for the information displayed on your insulin pump. Dosing decisions should not be made based on the secondary display device. The user should follow instructions on the continuous glucose monitoring system and insulin pump. This secondary display device is not intended to replace self-monitoring practices as advised by a physician.

♢ Eligible patients will receive one (1) FreeStyle Libre 2 system sensor or (1) FreeStyle Libre 3 system sensor for users with a compatible mobile phone operating system at $0 copay. The expiration date of the voucher is 60 days from the issue date. This program is available for patients with Type 1 diabetes or Type 2 diabetes or gestational diabetes. Patients ages 18 and older are eligible to sign up and receive an offer for the (1) FreeStyle Libre 2 system sensor or (1) FreeStyle Libre 3 system sensor. Patients ages 4-17 are eligible to receive an offer for the (1) FreeStyle Libre 2 sensor or (1) FreeStyle Libre 3 sensor through their parent or guardian. Patients ages 2-17 are eligible to receive an offer for the (1) FreeStyle Libre 2 Plus sensor or (1) FreeStyle Libre 3 Plus sensor through their parent or guardian. This offer is void where prohibited by law. Abbott may modify or rescind this offer at any time without notice. The discounts are not available to beneficiaries of Kaiser Permanente, Medicare, Medicaid or other federal or state healthcare programs, residents of Massachusetts, or US territories (other than Puerto Rico).
