If I take a bath and the FreeStyle Libre 3 sensor is below the surface, but my app is within the range, will the connection between the app and sensor still work so I get glucose readings and alarms?

The FreeStyle Libre 3 sensor should not be immersed deeper than 3 feet or longer than 30 minutes in water. As long as the FreeStyle Libre 3 app^* is within 33 feet, the glucose alarms^† are turned ON, and Critical Alerts/Do Not Disturb and Bluetooth permissions are enabled, you should continue to receive glucose readings and alarms.

^* The FreeStyle Libre 3 app is only compatible with certain mobile devices and operating systems. Please check our compatibility guide for more information about device compatibility before using the app.

^† Notifications will only be received when alarms are turned on and the sensor is within 33 feet unobstructed of the reading device. You must enable the appropriate settings on your smartphone to receive alarms and alerts, see the FreeStyle Libre 3 User’s Manual for more information.
